What should I do when I get a notification of a DNA test failure?

  • Updated

There are several reasons why the analysis of a sample may not be successful. However, due to biological variability, some people do not have enough concentration of DNA in their saliva. To rerun the DNA test, we need a second saliva sample from you.

Here are your next steps:

  1. Request a replacement kit
  2. Once you receive the replacement kit, collect your second saliva sample and send it back to us. Be reminded that you must strictly follow the saliva sample collection guidelines to avoid a second failure.

If the second sample fails the DNA test, we send you a notification email.

In that case, submit a request for a refund.
